Why Teddy Kids Exists
We didn't build another daycare. We built what we wish we had as kids.
Our Mission
At Teddy Kids, we believe every child deserves an environment where their natural curiosity and joy of learning can flourish. Our mission is to nurture global citizens through bilingual education, play-based learning, and cultural awareness.
We create spaces where children develop confidence in multiple languages, build meaningful relationships, and gain the skills needed to thrive in our interconnected world.
Through our unique approach, we empower children to become compassionate, creative, and critical thinkers who will shape a better future.
Policy & Reports
Our commitment to transparency and accountability is reflected in our comprehensive documentation.

Two decades of treating childhood as sacred
In a world that wants children to grow up faster, we chose to slow time down. Teddy Kids was never just a daycare. From day one, it was a statement: That childhood is sacred. That care can be intelligent and thoughtful. That bilingualism isn't a trick—it's a key. And that children deserve more than just safety—they deserve wonder.
2004–2008
Three groups. One mission. Building a place where children are seen, heard, and cherished. No screens. No rush. Just genuine attention.
2010
Our second location opened, focusing on ZML. Not because it was easy. But because it was important.
2014
RBW opened... with an elephant. Literally. Because magic is real when you're four years old. (And yes—the municipality said: 'never again.')
2018
We dreamed of a children's café. The permit was secured, the ideas were flowing... Then COVID hit. But even paused dreams leave traces.
2020
RB3 opened—amid global uncertainty. Because childhood doesn't wait.
2022
TISA was born. Teddy grew up—and got a school that matches its values: Theodore International Start-up Academy. Not just education. Elevation.
2023
TISA Portugal opened. One stamp closer to raising true global citizens.
2024
20 years of Teddy. RB5 opened its doors. And one truth rings louder than ever: You can't outsource childhood. You have to build it yourself.
2025
The journey continues. New dreams, new locations, same unwavering commitment to childhood.
Our Vision
We're not here to scale mediocrity. We're here to protect what's irreplaceable—because childhood happens only once.
- 🕯️We protect curiosity like a flame.
- ✨We preserve magic in places where screens want to steal it.
- 🌍We teach language not as a subject—but as a passport for the soul.
- 🏡We build spaces that feel like home, but think like a school.
- 🎯We keep our standards impossibly high—because your child is worth it.
You brought a child into this world. We're here to help that child bloom.
